hostess gift guide

As the season of holiday parties begins no one wants to show up empty handed, am I right?  Well I am here to help...I have compiled a wide assortment of hostess gifts that any party thrower would love.  If your budget allows I would recommend compiling a couple gifts to have on hand, just in case you're invited to a soiree last minute.  And really, how could we not be with our witty personalities and ravishing good looks?  Throwing a party takes a lot of time and hard work so bringing a small token of appreciation is always acknowledged by the hostess.  And while a bottle of wine or liquor is always welcome (let’s be real) why not step up your gift giving game with one of the thoughtful suggestions below.  Hope you enjoy this gift guide and happy gifting!

food hostess gifts
Food is always a good gift because everyone likes to eat, especially around the holidays.  If you’re staying at someone’s house for the weekend I love the idea of gifting this pancake and maple syrup tote from L.L. Bean and giving the hostess an easy option to serve for breakfast one morning.  A hostess is usually frazzled as it is so anything to make his or her life easier is usually greatly appreciated.

perfect hostess gifts
This category is all about knowing your audience.  If your hostess loves paper products and staying organized, this Garance Dore Leo notebook set from Rifle Paper Co. would be ideal.  If they love bath & body products pick them up a small gift set, or if they live to entertain this coffee table book from Kate Spade would be perfect.  Another recent favorite of mine are these Rewined Candles.  Made in South Carolina this company uses recycled wine bottles to produce all natural soy candles with aromas that mimic your favorite wines.  Think scents like "Rose," "Pinot Noir," and "Wine Under the Tree."

holiday christmas kitchen
How adorable is this trio of festive serving ware??  I love gifting something the hostess will actually use and have for years to come.  Given as a set or mixed and matched with some of the other items in this guide I don’t know who wouldn’t love a set of jolly spatulas.

holiday christmas personalized gifts
Gifting anything personalized shows you really went above and beyond and put in the extra effort to give something unique.  I love this set of copper mugs from Mark & Graham (perfect for Moscow Mules!), this personalized rolling pin would be ideal for a new couple or family, and this gold initial mug from Anthropologie would be lovely gifted with your favorite coffee or tea.  (My favorite is Aveda's Comforting Tea, it's amazing!!)

gold entertaining hostess gifts
I love a great entertaining gift!  This trio of chic gold & white items would be perfect given individually or gifted as a set for New Year’s.  And how cute are those Cheers! Champagne Flutes from ZGallerie??  Now you can make a witty toast in six languages.

And if all else fails stop by a grocery store en route and grab some fresh flowers or a poinsettia to pair with a hand written card.  Hope you all have lots of fun parties to attend this holiday season and this gift guide helped you find the perfect gift to bring!!

 xoxo Nicole
