holiday gift guide for him

Why are men so difficult to shop for?  For reals, whether it be a boyfriend, father, uncle, or postman I never know what to get these lads.  But with a little internet scouring and asking for input from the men in my life I have compiled an awesome gift guide that I couldn't wait to share.  Merry shopping ladies!

  1. L.L. Bean Fleece Lined Flannel Shirt - This classic from L.L. Bean is perfect for the man who lives in a colder climate.  Oh so cozy and lined with toasty fleece this is a high quality item he'll snuggle in for years.
  2. Bose SoundTrue Headphones Around-Ear Style - These are my go to headphones for travel.  And while I'm partial to the mint variety, this snazzy black pair is perfect for the male jetsetter in your life.  The sound quality is superb and they are so comfortable to wear!
  3. Syma Drone - Even a grown man loves playing with toys, and this affordable drone will provide entertainment all day long.  He won't even be bothering you while you're preparing the Christmas feast.
  4. Leather Watch Case - I love this swanky watch case and think it's a great gift because it's something he probably wouldn't buy for himself.  For me, I know my watches just make their way to the bottom of my jewelry box and I would love something like this as a way to display them.
  5. Cosmos by Carl Sagan - A great book is one of my favorite things to give and this top rated non-fiction tome would capture the attention of any man.  Exploring the depths of cosmic history author Sagan educates on the evolution of earth in an easy and enjoyable read.
  6. Flashback Cologne by Olfactive Studio - Ok, full disclosure here this cologne is hella expensive.  But if you're in the market to splurge on your man there is no fragrance more delectable than this.  I beg you to go to Barney's and smell this.
  7. Birchbox Man Subscription - It's like the gift that keeps on giving!  I think every man secretly wants to up their grooming game and a subscription from Birchbox delivers five deluxe sized goodies to his doorstep every month.  He'll be educating you on the benefits of exfoliating in no time.
  8. Roots of Fight Apparel - My brother recently introduced me to this company and they make really unique graphic apparel.  Roots of fight focuses their clothing on the history of martial arts and evolution of combat sports and and features collections anchored to iconic fighters like Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, and Muhammad Ali.  Very cool.
  9. Williams-Sonoma Ultimate Grilling Rub Set - Very random I know, but I had to throw this darling gift set in there.  A man once told me, "A woman's place is in the kitchen and a man's place is at the grill."  While my feminist prowess may or may not agree with that statement the fact that men love to grill is irrefutable, hence the perfection of this four pack rub set from Williams-Sonoma.
  10. J.Crew Harwick Weekender Bag - Everyone can always use an update in the luggage department and for the man on the go this sophisticated duffle from J.Crew is perfect for a weekend trip and holiday travel.
  11. Mark & Graham Mini Travel Poker Set - How adorable is this portable poker set from Mark & Graham?  And it can be monogrammed?!?  Double win.
  12. Fitbit - For the fitness aficionado what could be more perfect than a wristband that tracks your activity, calories burned, heart rate, and sleep quality.  And maybe if your hubby has been snacking on one two many Christmas cookies this can be your gentle suggestion to get back in the gym.
I hope you enjoyed this gift guide, how has your holiday shopping been coming along this season?  I'm almost done, but still have a few more goodies to pick up for my family.  Do you have any suggestions for gifts for him?  I would love to hear them in the comments below!

xoxo Nicole
