Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré
French Face Cream
Embryolisse face cream tube
Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré

A couple weeks back I shared a post on my love for the Fresh Black Tea skincare line and how much I adored their Black Tea Age-Delay Cream as a night moisturizer.  (Check that post out HERE) As much as I loved these additions to my skincare routine I was still on the hunt for a great morning face cream.  After hearing great things on YouTube, beauty blogs, and learning this is Gwyneth Paltrow's face moisturizer of choice (she looks amazing, if she uses it I'm buying it) I bit the bullet and ordered the Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré.  This French moisturizer has been a cult favorite since it's debut in 1950 and it's quite the skincare multi-tasker.  It can be used in its most popular form as a face cream, but also doubles as a makeup remover, a post-shave soother, and as a primer for makeup.  You will find a well-loved tube of Embryolisse in almost every makeup artist's bag and for good reason.  This product is well received on even the most sensitive of skin and it absorbs quickly without leaving behind a tacky or oily residue.   This cream is rich without being heavy and is chock full of skin loving ingredients such as shea butter and aloe vera. This product is also paraben and sulfate free, not tested on animals and has a very mild scent.  It really is the perfect base for makeup.  My skin absolutely loves this stuff and I have a feeling it will be a standby in my skincare routine for years to come.

You can purchase this skincare wonder through Amazon, Sephora, and Birchbox.  The only drawback being that I have seen this product for sale through online retailers only and have never seen it in stores.  It retails for $16.00 for 30 ml and $28.00 for 75ml.   (Use code COMEBACK20OFF at to receive 20% off your order and free shipping on orders over $50.)  Also important to note that while the Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré is moisturizing it’s fairly light and guys and gals with very dry complexions may need something heavier.  All in all this product definitely wins my approval and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great morning moisturizer.  Granted this skincare product doesn’t promise anti-aging miracles or contain SPF, but I feel like sometimes less is more when it comes to skincare.  And if it’s been selling by the tube since 1950 they must be doing something right!  I hope you guys enjoyed this post and are having a wonderful week.  Leave me a comment below letting me know if you have tried this cult classic and what is your favorite moisturizer of the moment?  Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

xoxo Nicole
